Frequently Asked Questions |
|
What types of televisions are required for viewing these Videos in
3D?
CRT or "Tube" type televisions (50Hz) are required for use with the 3D Video
Viewing Systems. These types of televisions refresh their image in a very
consistent manner, which makes it very easy for the 3D system to synchronize to
the signal.
Will the 3D Video Viewing system work with my HDTV, Plasma, LCD, or
projection television system?
HDTV, Plasma, LCD, and most projection television systems refresh their image in
a random manner. This makes it impossible for the 3D Video Viewing system to
synchronize to their signal, making them incompatible with the system. The
exception to this is 3 “gun” CRT based projection systems where all 3 guns have
a synchronized refresh.
Can your 3D DVD’s be viewed on a PC?
If you have a DVD drive in your computer, and a CRT monitor, yes. To do this,
you will need either our MM Gamer dongle, or Cruiser dongle. You will also need
the "Power DVD" software available from www.gocyberlink.com. Once you have this
software, you will need to run at 640 X 480 resolution, in Full Screen mode,
with "Forced Weave" selected in the configuration. Additionally, with the MM
Gamer dongle you will need the "H3D.exe" file which is available for download
from our web site www.i-glasses.com. The H3D.exe file must then be activated for
viewing the DVD’s. With the Cruiser dongle, the interlaced mode is turned on
with the in line switch.
Is it possible to play the DVD´s with my DVD-player?
You can play the DVD´s on every player that converts a NTSC signal.
All DVD´s are Region Code 0.
Can I watch the DVD´s without the 3D-converter?
Yes. All DVD´s released until today containing a 2D and 3D version, you can
choose in the start up menue.
Is it possible to connect wireless glasses to my wired box-set?
Yes you can do that with an upgrade.
How many persons can watch movies at the same time?
There should not be more then 8 to 10 persons watching at the same time with
wireless glasses. The signal radius is about 8 Meters.
General Questions on the 3D systems
Is there a single 3D system which can be used for both PC and Video
applications?
The "Universal 3D Bundle" (part #A103979) contains both Wireless 3D Video and PC
gaming interfaces, and 2 pairs of wireless 3D Glasses.
What type of batteries do my wireless glasses take?
We manufacture 2 different styles of wireless glasses. Each Style takes a
different battery. If the ear pieces of your wireless Glasses slide in and out
of the temple arms, the glasses require 2 "CR 1620" Lithium batteries. If the
temple arms on your glasses are a single Non-adjustable piece, your glasses
require 2 "CR 2032" batteries.
Can I use glasses that came with my PC Gaming system for viewing videos?
Yes, our 3D glasses are interchangeable between PC and video viewing systems.
Problems and Troubleshooting:
Problem: I don't see any 3D effect.
• Be sure the programming you are watching is 3D. If the programming is 3D, you
should see a slight double image without the glasses.
Problem: My screen flickers.
• Some people can see flicker when watching a 3D program on a television. To
minimize flicker, turn down or turn off the lights in the room while you are
watching 3D. The darker the room, the less flicker you will notice.
Problem: The 3D images do not look correct.
• Check to ensure the polarity of the images. The left image should only be
seen by your left eye and the right image should only be seen by your right
eye. The MODE switch on the 3D control box switches between a left-eye-first
and a right-eye-first video format. Be sure you have the i-ware!™ 3D system set
to the correct mode.
Problem: The 3D images have the correct polarity but the image still does not
look right.
• Everyone's visual system is a little different. The 3D images are formatted
for the average head size and eye separation. Try moving closer to or farther
away from your monitor until the images can be viewed comfortably. |
